LLLab – Ep 5: Word Games

Hello there!

Word games like Scrabble, Boggle, and Snatch-It can be really useful when learning and practicing vocabulary. There are a few problems that might arise when doing so however. Those are all related to letter frequency. They MIGHT not be a huge problem for some languages, but for others they can be major!

Maybe you can find a way to over come them by finding word games IN your target language. Maybe if you’re a LOT smarter than me you can do the statistics and the math and customize your own sets! Maybe someone ALREADY HAS! The possibilities are endless! Except they actually are finite… but that’s besides the point….

  • Thanks for the video, could you please point me to a resource that I can use to figure out how many letters in what order on boggle dice there should be for Esperanto. If you can't it's fine, thank you.
