I do not remember the side of the war that was flying an X-Wing!! X-Wing mixed with the ww2 fighters in the screen shot!
Was going to comment "how did you not include Battleball on this list?" assuming it wouldn't make it, but I'm happy it's getting the love it deserves. Great game and really cool minis!
I would deny that "Sundrop" is anything like "painted". Otherwise you could call the old Dust minis painted because Allies and Axis came in different colours.
On the other side Tannhäuser was really painted…
Tokaido? Some of the most whimsical miniatures ever sounding an amazing game
Sweet
Funkoverse Tom?
Im surprised GKR didn't get mentioned
Really missing tapestry
I really would like my miniatures painted in imperial assault, it would give that extra kick for thematic feel. So expensive thou to get them painted and to get into the hobby seems expensive and very time consuming but probably a very fun hobby.
Sails of Glory and Star Wars Armada are a couple of my favorites.
I'm surprised Tapestry didn't make the list.
GKR heavy hitters has some nice preprinted mechs and my first ever pre painted board game was Betrayal.
I wish Heroclix got a spot, but I can understand why Tom doesn't like it. The game system does have problems, but it's still a workable system with a giant selection of characters. There's very few superhero characters that aren't represented in it.
no Cerebria, really?!?!
while not a miniatures game at all, i really like how 3rd/4th edition fury of dracula comes with pre-painted minis.
Not very well known, but Dreamblade is a cool prepainted minis type game.
Another great list, really agree with your top 3 but maybe a different order for me
You have to pay extra usually, don't you
X-Wing Second Edition Minis are even better painted than the First Edition minis!
How about the Tokaido collector edition? Or Takenoko?
Sundrop = washed minis. Don't really consider that being "painted". Also, my copy of Lords of Hellas was "sundropped" and it looked horrible.
How about Robo Rally? The version from Avalon Hill is pre-painted.
Nice video, what are the chances you'll be reviewing the Street Fighter Miniatures game when it finally arrives with backers, the pre-printed minis are looking to be pretty good… (I'm assuming someone in your network of friends, etc backed it and would be willing to lend it for a review…)
I was waiting to see heroscape on this list
Any game with pre-painted minis gets me to look at it, I am not a painter and have grown tired of the unpainted games. I pretty much avoid miniatures games now unless I can get them painted or at least shaded/sundropped.
Wings of Glory: Tripods and Triplanes maybe has their best miniatures. As a fan of HG Wells War Of The Worlds, it might be a favourite implementation of that system, though I think the WW1 biplanes are cool on their own
