  • For those curious, I did not include the Stanely Toolkit or Amazon Basics backpack because those are 'Everyday Items' that can be used for MTG, and this video is meant to look at actual products built for the game. If you'd like to see that review, it can be found here: https://youtu.be/kSm49YvmBbg

  • how many toploaders can the Arkhive hold? I keep my foils back to back in toploaders  in a shoebox with dessicant(for obvious reason). The archive is pretty attractive.

  • Prof-love the vids, been watching you for years. That said, how do you cope with sideways storage? I know I'm not alone in my hatred for the sideways storage system. You can't readily flip through the contents and you basically have to remove the entire section to look through them. For me (any many others) vertical storage is the only way to go. You can easily thumb through them and view the contents with ease. Your number one choice makes me nervous looking at indistinguishable cards laid sideways. How can you possibly know what's in there without memorization or removing them all?!
I'm surprised to see a sideways storage box in the number one slot.

  • The Dex protect box does allow for 60 card decks (single sleeved as I do) left in dragon shield boxes.. This is quite nice. Otherwise, using ribbon to separate decks works great to allow you to grab them out with ease. I have one and it is amazing.

  • Would you have any suggestions on a deck box/carrying case that holds about 6-7 commander deck and could fit in a backpack with school supplies still in it? Just for reference, I currently use Bundle/Fat Pack boxes, and I can usually fit 2-3 of them in my backpack without a problem. I have no problem with using these. I would just like to possibly carry my cards in something of higher quality, but still low price. Please reply with suggestions.

  • I have two of those Card Barrier Box. Almost 4 years. So great! For some reason they heavy duty super glue for the label sticker. So had a pretty difficult time getting off. But other than that, excellent box.

The problem I've always had with Ultimate Guard is their logo. It's ugly. I wanted to get their card box, but opted for a different brand with a nice dragon symbol logo.

  • After having used it for a couple of years, the REP MTG-1 has served me incredibly well, it carries 8 of my commander decks in Ultra Pro commander deck boxes, as well as my playmat and dice! It’s been dropped, sat on, and still looks immaculate. I got it during one of the mass drop sales at 60$. Id say it’s a pretty damn good choice! I just wish they offered a larger version.

  • I like how the Ultimate Guard Arkhive looks, but dragon shield recently made something similar that doubles as a play mat. I can't consider it until I see a review for it here though 😛
